Getting ready for Spring

The 2011 lecture series begins very soon. They will all be on Tuesday nights from 6:30m to 8:30 at the library. We will start on the 8th with ”Preserving Local History” presented by the Williamson County Museum.
Next, on the 15th, we will hear all about the ”Life of the Paleo Indian in the Florence Area” by archaeologists from the Gault Foundation. The Gault Site is fast becoming a local treasure.
On the 22nd, we will be entertained and informed by author Joan Hall with a presentation titled ”Ghosts Behind Bars : A History of Texas Haunted Jails”.
The final in the series will be ” Spring Gardening: Produce a Beautiful and Bountiful Garden” with Barbara Wright from Wright’s Nursery. She is always a great source of knowledge and usually brings wonderful plants to sell.
So please try to join us for this years lectures. As always there will be plenty of refreshments and conversation after each one.
