Spring Lecture Series 2010

Tuesday evening, library patrons were given a real treat with the music of the Country Combo. Buddy Ferguson, Wayne Smith and Max Fry did  a nearly 90 minute review of country /western music starting with the Carter family and continuing on to the early ’60’s. All of these gentleman have lived those times and the love and enjoyment they feel for the music was very evident. There was much toe tappin’ and singin’ along from the crowd.

Next Tuesday we conclude this years series with a make-up talk on raised bed gardening by a representative of the County Extension agency. This Master Gardener will present a very timely topic for us all. Spring is upon us, but wasn’t the Snow Day great. The talk will begin at 6:30 and should be very informative. Please try to attend.     jake
