Goin’ On’s!

May I first say, “Happy Valentine’s,” it’s this weekend. We have lots to read about Valentine’s Day, love and romance. Come browse our selections, bet you can find a good book!

Last night was a good kick off to our Spring Lecture Series. Ms. Glenna Teltow came and presented her talk on Bats in our community. We had a great turn out and the talk was very informative. Next Tuesday we will have some good ol’ Country Music, hope to see you all here!

As of February 10th, our story time is on hold. Due to the weather and family obligations, Ms. Melody has to take some time off for now but in June she will return with us and help during our Summer Reading Program. Looking forward to having her help us this year.

We have lots of books for sale, come browse the front table and shelf near the desk. There are lots of great reads just waiting to be snatched up.

We just received a box of books from the Native Plant Society of Texas Williamson County Chapter. Thank you for these wonderful books. Some of the titles we received are “Howard Garrett’s Plants of Texas”, ” Texas Organic Vegetable Gardening”, and “Wild Orchids of Texas”. Come on in and see all we have just in time for spring planting.

Come on by and visit the Library. Looking forward to seeing you here!
