Look What’s Going On

The kids are all back to school, football games are in full force, summers over officially, fall is here definitely. The weather’s changing. Outside it’s getting colder and wetter. What would make a day great is to find a great book to read. We have just “recieved a rather large assortment of books from the money granted from the Tocker Foundation. Our Spanish Section has grown, we received approx. 100 books to add to it. Some examples are “Un poco de magia” by Patricia Rice, the entire Twilight Series in Spanish, some recipe books in Spanish, and several children’s books. We also got other books like “Alex Cross’s Trial” by James Patterson, “The Last Song” by Nicholas Sparks, Books 1 – 7 D Gray-man, and several Careers in Focus which are used by the students at the High School for research papers. We have tons more to look through.

Our annual Book Sale was a success, October 10. We still have a table set up in the front of the Library with plenty to choose from as well as books on our sale shelf. Please check back regularly as books are added daily.

Our Children’s Story Time is in full swing. Every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:15 come visit with our newest volunteer, Melody Davis. She is very good with the children. She starts with singing, then they read a few books and ends with a craft. Parents, please bring your pre-schoolers to a super time at the Library on Wednesdays.
