Florence library re-named after founder

Our signs have changed, but don’t worry, we’ll still the same good ol’ library! 🙂

The library founder, Eula “Sis” Beck, was honored at the annual Florence Chamber of Commerce banquet at the end of March of this year.  We are now known as the “Eula Hunt Beck Public Library”.

Other tidbits:  Our spanish and english classes are now in full swing.  You can join in at any time.  You also may learn by self-study using Rosetta Stone, just stop by during our regular business hours.  Click the link above “Programs” for our full schedule.

Summer Reading is coming around again soon!  This summer we will be celebrating 50 years of summer reading in Texas.  Kids of all ages can participate in reading contests, crafts, and story time.  Summer Reading will be throughout the month of June.  A complete schedule will be announced soon.
